First ride of the new Penzance group is a great success!

We are 9 riders on a cool sunny day. We meet up at The Lands End Cycle Hire at Long Rock which overlooks St Micheal’s Mount, which is especially nice today in the sunshine.

Andy leads the way through quiet lanes to the villages of St Erth and Leedstown, rolling countryside with masses of daffodils all around.

We stop awhile at the popular Trevaskis Farm Shop, near Connor Downs for our coffee stop. There is a large selection of maybe 20 splendid cakes and savories greeting us in a long display cabinet.

Refreshed, the route back takes in Hayle and then retracing the way from St Erth and Long Rock to our starting point.

Rides are fortnightly with the next one on Sunday 26th March. Meet up at 10am at The Lands End Cycle Hire at Long Rock.
