Very well done to the men who ignored the poor weather forecast after a week of glorious sunshine and met up in Liskeard for the end of May Easy Rider Group ride.

Dave led the group out via  Pengover green and Merrymeet along the lanes until they arrived through the mist and rain at Trevallicks farm shop and café.  Here they were pleased to exchange pleasantries with a cylce group on their morning ride from Essa Cycling at Saltash.

Spoilt for choice of various cakes, toasted sandwiches etc, they enjoyed their various selections while the weather outside started to clear and the mist lifted giving them glorious views across Bodmin Moor .

You can hire electric bikes from the farm shop, but these hardy cyclists decided it would be a few more years before they had to consider their use.

Once fully refreshed, the group made the trip back through Crows nest, Darite, Commonmoor and St.Cleer arriving to bright sunshine in Liskeard.

The  next Easy Riders is on Saturday 24th June, 0900 on the Parade Liskeard (next to the fountain) PL14 6AW.  Join us (no doubt in full sunshine this time!) for a gentle ride through local lanes  (approximately ten miles) with a café stop on route.
